Sharon Hartley Ross WEBSharon Hartley Ross, 66, of Newton Grove, NC, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at her home.

Born in Lenawee County, Michigan in 1950 to the late Gregory and Imagene May Hartley, Sharon worked as a Registered Nurse. She loved swimming but her greatest love was her grandchildren.

Sharon leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Jennell (William) Robinson of Newton Grove, N.C., her brother, Dennis (Sheryl) Hartley of CA; sisters, Luann Giebler, and Cynthia Russo of FL; two grandchildren; five nieces; and one nephew.

A funeral service in North Carolina will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Newton Grove Church of God, 366 Massey Road, with Pastor David Jarman officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 5:00 – 6:00 at the church. North Carolina services are being handled by Hope Valley Hawkins.

A funeral service in Ohio will follow on Saturday, June 18, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home in Fayette with Pastor Andrea Curry officiating. Burial will follow in Lickley’s Corners Cemetery in Wright Township, MI. The family will receive friends for additional visitation on Saturday, June 18, from 11:00 a.m. until the service.
