Sharon Von Essen (Weber), passed away in her home and was surrounded by loved ones on October 18, 2023 at the age of 80, following a brief illness.
Sharon was born in Montpelier, Ohio on November 11, 1942 to Ivan and Velma Weber of Archbold, Ohio.
Sharon attended school in Archbold and graduated from Archbold High school in 1960.
One of six children, Sharon was preceded in death by her brothers, Larry Weber and Ronnie Weber, and her sisters Shirley Lindau and Dianne Ball.
Sharon was a loving wife, mother, doting grandmother and will be dearly missed. She lived in CA with her first husband Art Mckarns, of Pulaski, where she raised her daughter, Robin.
She had spent most of the last 30 years living in Illinois on the Lake of Egypt where she enjoyed hosting many friends and family members at her home with big meals and great fun boating on the lake with her current husband Glenn Brand. She was glad to return home to Archbold in 2020 to be with her family again.
She is survived by her husband Glenn Brand, her daughter Robin Leonardo (Mckarns), her sister Debbie Shinaberry (Weber) of Archbold and her two grandchildren Michael Leonardo of Yuma, Arizona and Cassie Leonardo of Bend, Oregon, as well as all of her beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at Grisier’s Funeral Home in Archbold on November 4, 2023 at 11:00 with a gathering time of 10:00am.
