Smiles of Ohio Orthodontics in Wauseon celebrated the Grand Opening for their new location on Thursday, January 6th. The new office is located at 515 Parkview Street where the State Bank previously used to be.

The ceremony was held at noon with the Owner and Orthodontist David Behringer, several staff members, members of the Wauseon Chamber of Commerce, and other local businesses partnered with the Chamber.

Many people will recognize the team of Orthodontists and staff that run the office. The company has been serving residents in Northwest Ohio for around 57 years, with 33 of those years being in Wauseon.

The first Wauseon location was opened in 1988 in the strip plaza not too far from the Farmers and Merchants State Bank.

The team of Orthodontists, made up of David Behringer, John Eckhardt, and John Potocki, bring many types of treatment options to Wauseon. Orthodontics for both children and adults are provided with the group utilizing the latest technology.

Some of that technology consists of digital x-rays, intraoral scans to replace impressions, simulations to show outcomes, and enhanced sterilization. Traditional braces and Invisalign is also available.

The purpose of moving to a new location was to give patients and staff more space. More space allows the team to do their job more effectively as well as helping with the comfort of patients. It is also closer to the schools in order to help with convenience. It is also located next to Family Dentistry which is home to Drs. Pinter, Cousino, and Roth.

All of this is working towards the goal of ensuring patient satisfaction. “We are all extremely excited to have more space to improve the delivery of our service and enhance the quality of care.”

“Our staff is great, caring and knowledgeable. We have had some staff members retire after 40 some years. The average experience here is 20 years which is almost unheard of. Fact is, they love to work here and to work with the patients.”

Smiles of Ohio Orthodontics is currently accepting new patients. With locations in Wauseon, Bryan and Defiance, they are available to help many people located throughout Northwest Ohio.

The Wauseon location can be contacted by calling 419-335-7047. Consultations can also be setup online, including virtual consultations, by going to smilesofohio.com and clicking on the button towards the bottom right of the screen that says, “New virtual smile consultation.”

Staff members are waiting to greet you, where the saying is “Creating beautiful smiles to last a lifetime.”
