Soil & Water Conservation District Taking Orders for Trees

The Williams Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is currently taking orders for the annual tree seedling sale through March 22nd. Trees will be ready to pick up during the Maple Syrup Day & Woodland & Wildlife Family Festival on Saturday, March 23, at the Williams County Fairgrounds. A variety of tree seedlings are available. Colorado blue spruce, Norway spruce, white pine, and arborvitae are available in bundles of 10 or 25 and range in height from 9 to 15 inches.
Eastern redbud and butterfly bush are available in bundles of five and are 12 to 18 inches tall.

Marking flags, fertilizer tablets, wildflower seed packets, and tree planting bars are also available for purchase.
