BUDDIES … It has been a long-standing tradition at Saint Mary School that the sixth grade students buddy up with a first grade student throughout the school year. These sixth grade leaders take their little buddy under their wing during various events and projects. This practice helps build community, forge friendships, and strengthen leadership skills. During this introductory event, students shared story time, worked together on an art activity, and enjoyed popcorn.
