Steven Sidle (1956 – 2024)

Steven R. Sidle, 67, of Montpelier, passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. He was born on December 20, 1956 in Bryan, Ohio to Charles H. and Eleanor May (Speakman) Sidle, Sr.

Steve graduated from Montpelier High School in 1974 and retired from Allied Moulded Products in Bryan after 40 plus years of working there as a custodian.

Steve is survived by his sister, Shirley A. Houk of Montpelier; numerous nieces and nephews; and companion Carol Janeway of Bryan. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Charles Sidle Sr., Kevin Sidle and David Sidle.


A time to receive friends will take place on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 11am – 1pm at the Thompson Funeral Home on Main Street in Montpelier. The funeral service will immediately follow at 1pm at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Frank to officiate. Interment to follow at Brown Cemetery in Bryan.

Memorials may be left in Steve’s memory to the Williams County Humane Society. Condolences may be left for the family at www.thethompsonfuneralhome.com.
