Stryker School Board Finalizes Staff For 2016-17 School Year

The Board accepted a donation from Swanton Welding & Machining – $8,982.77 toward the Stryker Football program
The Board approved Jackie Holsopple, Transportation Driver, for a one-year contract.
Upcoming dates of note:
Aug. 29 JV football home opener with Edgerton 4:30 p.m.
JH football home opener with PH 5 p.m.
Sept. 2 – School pictures provided by Studio 34
Sept. 5 – No School Labor Day
Sept. 12 – No School Fair Day
Sept. 13 – Teacher In-Service Day. No school for students.
Sept. 14 – first nine weeks’ midterm reports
The Board approved the following the following classified/certified substitutes and volunteers for the 2016-17 school year, contingent upon required BCI/FBI background check and all required documents.

Volunteers
Boys Basketball – Parker Ruffer
HS Cross country – Kari Oberlin

Classified/Certified Personnel and
Transportation Driver Substitutes
Chad Carroll
Deb Dominique –Child Care Leave

The Board approved the following Supplemental Contracts for the 2016-2017 School year, as presented:
Jr. High Football – Steve Peters
Jr. High Football – Joe Roose
Co-Play Director – Victoria Wisnewski


The Board approved Sam Speiser as Maintenance Assistant, 1 year contract, effective September 1, 2016, as presented.
The Board approved the resignation of Chad Carroll, Transportation driver, effective Aug. 4.
The Board approved the 2016-2017 Agreement with the Wood County Juvenile Detention, Training and Rehabilitation Center, for assigned JDC and JRC students.
The Board approved the Lease Purchase Agreement with Granite Industries, for Athletic Complex Bleachers.
The Board approved the Athletic Trainer Agreement for the 2016-17 school year, with Midwest Community Health Associates, Inc.
The next BOE meeting is 6:30 p.m. Sept. 13 in the HS Art Room.
