Swanton Students Honored In NHS Induction Ceremony

The Swanton High School held its National Honor Society Induction Ceremony on Wednesday, April 30th. The ceremony began at 6:00 p.m. with opening remarks from the Assistant Principal, Nicolette Sparks.

The National Honor Society President, Keagan Young, Vice President, Makenna Mortemore, Secretary, Jessica Finfera, and Treasurer, Ben Heckert, then presented the four pillars of the National Honor Society: Character, Leadership, Scholarship, and Service.

The induction ceremony commenced with the 2025-2026 officers being inducted into the National Honor Society: Laci Walborn as President, Lauren Bettinger as Vice President, Carli LaGrange as Secretary, and Serennah Coburn as Treasurer. The following students were inducted into the National Honor Society: Zoe Arnold, James Bates, Luke Bettinger, Noah Bets, Ava Bowser, Faith Bryant, Lily Flahiff, Myla Goins, Andrew Koder, Abbie Lewis, Lucas Lohman, Kaylee Mosko, Evan Reinhard, Giovanni Ruiz, Olivia Silveous, Brendan Upham, Jocelyn Villagomez, and Lexie Yeager.

The 2024-2025 National Honor Society seniors gave introductions to their special guests, followed by the Honor Cord Conferment.
