Swanton Swears In Future Fire Chief

NEW HIRE … Recently appointed Deputy Fire Chief, Anthony Schaffer, was sworn into office on August 9th by Swanton Mayor Ann Roth and officially began his duties on Monday, August 11th. Mr. Schaffer will serve in this capacity for approximately four months and will assume the role of Fire Chief effective December 1st, 2019. In the interim, he will work with current Fire Chief Mike Wolever to become acquainted with the Swanton Fire Department and its policies and procedures.
