Onweller, age 98, of Bryan and formerly of Delta, passed away at Fountain Park Nursing Home in Bryan on Thursday morning, September 29, 2016.  She was born in Ridgeville Township, OH on October 24, 1917 to the late Alvin and Lelah (Meister) Damman.  She was united in marriage to Corwin Onweller on March 11, 1939 and he preceded her in death in October of 1989.

Thelma and her husband were charter members of Trinity Lutheran Church in Delta where she was very active in the women’s groups and helped with funeral luncheons. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00AM – 12:00 AM on Monday, October 3, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Delta where a funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM.  Pastor Eric Markovich will be officiating.  Interment will be at Winameg Cemetery near Delta.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Trinity Lutheran Church, 410 Taylor Street, Delta, Ohio 43515 or to a charity of the donor’s choice in her memory.  Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com
