Thomas “Tom” Parsons (1956 – 2026)

Thomas J. “Tom” Parsons, age 69, of Edon, passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.

Tom worked in maintenance for Bryan Metals and Powers & Sons prior to his retirement. He enjoyed computers and riding four-wheelers.

Thomas J. Parsons was born on June 3, 1956, in Paulding, Ohio, the son of James E. and Carol J. (Riemersma) Parsons.

He graduated from Montpelier High School and earned an associate degree in electrical and mechanical engineering from Northwest Technical School. Tom married Jodi L. Miller in Bryan on Jan. 17, 1981, and she survives.

Tom is also survived by his son, Charles (Amber) Parsons; daughter, Samantha (Russell) Green; grandchildren, Logan Green, Emma Cleckner, Addison Parsons, Rylan Green and Finley Green; great-grandchildren, Ainsley and Sophia Mosher, all of Fremont, Indiana; and siblings, Timothy (Cindy) Parsons, of Bryan, Teresa (John) Vanover, of Montpelier, Steven (Barbara) Parsons, of Kendallville, Indiana, and Ruth (Scott) McGolpin, of Goleta, California. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of Tom’s life will be held in the spring. His arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 204 West Indiana Street, Edon, Ohio.
