Thomas W. Huffman, age 75, of Wauseon, passed away on Sunday afternoon, August 6, 2017, at Toledo Hospital.
Prior to his retirement, Tom had co-owned with his family, the former Huffman Auto Supply in Wauseon where he had worked for 25 years. After that he worked for the City of Wauseon in Public Works for 10 years.
Tom was born in Wauseon on July 23, 1942, the son of Richard and Dorothy (Johnson) Huffman. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Wauseon. Tom was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a member of the Wauseon VFW Post 7424, and the Wauseon American Legion Post 265. He was also a lifetime member of the Fulton County Sportsmen Club, and a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA).
Surviving is his brother, Butch (Janet) Huffman of Wauseon and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
