ARCHBOLD, OHIO – Two Northwest State Community College students have been named to the All-Ohio Academic Team. Shalina Zwick, of Bryan, Ohio, and Logan Petersen, of Napoleon, Ohio, were named to the All-Ohio Third Team, placing them among the top thirty community college students in the state. Both students received scholarship awards and were recognized at a luncheon at the Ohio Statehouse Atrium.

“Shalina and Logan have each worked diligently in pursing their dreams, as evidenced by their academic performance,” said Tom Stuckey, president of NSCC. “They have bright futures ahead of them, and Northwest State is proud to be a partner in their education.”

Both students will graduate in May, Logan with an Associate of Applied Business in Accounting and Shalina with an Associate of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology.

Created in 1997, the All-Ohio Academic Team provides recognition to outstanding students in Ohio’s public two-year colleges.
