Chesterfield Township – The Toledo Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating an injury crash which occurred west of the intersection of US 20 and SR 108 in Chesterfield Township, Fulton County on October 11, 2020 at approximately 9:32 a.m.
A 2018 Chevrolet Camaro driven by 34 year old Dontae Wilbon of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was westbound on US 20 when it went off the left side of the road striking a tree and occupied house.
Mr. Wilbon sustained minor injuries and was taken by ground ambulance to Fulton County Health Center. A 33 year old passenger, Brandy Rooker of Woodhaven, Michigan, was taken by air ambulance to St. Vincent’s Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
Alcohol is not a factor in the crash. Safety belts were not being used by either occupant. No one in the residence was injured from the crash, and US 20 was shut down for approximately 30 minutes.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Morenci, MI Fire Department, and Lyons Fire Department.
The crash remains under investigation.
