Stryker Branch Library has a number of programs available to the public during February and March of 2013.  Fifth and sixth graders are invited to come to the library on the first Friday of each month for the remainder of the school year for fun gaming afternoons.  Gaming will be held from 3:15 pm to 4:30 pm on Friday, February 1 and Friday, March 1.  Students may play Wii games, various board games, and card games.  Refreshments will be served.  This program is funded through the 21st Century Grant.

Story times will continue in February and March with the “Panther Kidz” for children in grades kindergarten through second grade being held on Tuesdays from 3:15 pm to 4:00 pm.  “Read to Me,” where students can read to adults, will be held on Wednesdays from 3:15 pm to 4:00 pm.  “Panther Paws,” which is toddler story time for ages 2 to 5 years, will be held on Thursdays from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.

Jackie Briskey will be providing instruction for beginning crochet and guidance for those who have some experience with basic stitches. This class is for those who are age 13 and up.  Class meets at the Stryker Library from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Feb. 9 and Feb. 23. Pre-registration for these classes required.  If you have any questions about the class, please contact Jackie Briskey at 419-682-7255.
