Virginia May Baughman

Virginia May Baughman “Ginger”, 75, of Montpelier, passed away on Monday December 7, 2015 at her home. She was born on April 25, 1940 in Morenci, Michigan to Clair and Annetta (Stewart) Wheeler. Ginger attended Morenci and Fayette High Schools. On October 12, 1963 she married Robert L. Baughman, Sr., and he preceded her in death in December 1999.

Ginger retired in 2005 from Evergreen Manor Nursing Home in Montpelier as a nursing assistant after 16 years of service. She loved spending time with her family and taking road trips to Pennsylvania.

Ginger is survived by three children, Connie (Mike) Warner of Jamestown, PA, Robert L. Baughman, Jr., of Kunkle and Barbara Baughman of Montpelier; five grandchildren, Michael (Devin) Warner of Jamestown, PA, Derek (Kristin) Warner of Greenville, PA, Melissa Baughman of Montpelier, Bobbie Baughman of Pittsford, MI and Kevin (Candy) Gran of Hadley, PA; thirteen great grandchildren; one brother, James (Carol) Wheeler of Andover, OH; daughter-in-law, Cindy Schmidt of Wauseon; and nephew, James Hill of Napoleon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, son, Randy Baughman and sister, Nancy Hill.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday December 9, 2015 from 1-8 pm at The Thompson-Geesey Funeral Home on Empire Street in Montpelier. A graveside service will be held on Thursday December 10, 2015 at 1 pm at Evergreen Cemetery in Ransom Township, Michigan with Pastor Richard Blank to officiate.
