(October 10th, 2014): Wauseon’s Eighth Grade squad defeated Delta 31-16 in Junior High North West Ohio Athletic Association action.
The Indian rushing attack was simply too much for the Panthers to handle. Zeb Smith rushed for a 45 yard Wauseon touchdown, while teammate Levi Krausla scored on runs of 30 and 65 yards. Krausla also hooked up with Zac Carroll on a 50 yard touchdown pass. Garrett Smith also threw a touchdown strike, with Xacier Torres making the 10 yard reception.
Defensively, Christian Cantu was able to recover a Delta fumble. Trevor Rodriguez led the Indians in tackles.
Wauseon will take on the Golden Bears of Bryan on Thursday.
