Wauseon High School Choir Scores Big At Dollywood

WHS Choir WEBThe Wauseon High School Chorale and Acapella Choir recently traveled to the Gatlinburg, Tennessee area for the “Music in the Parks” Competition at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge. Thirty-four students from the Acapella Choir and Chorale, grades 9-12, participated in the trip and performances. The choir performed at the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge as well as the competition at Dollywood. The choir scored first place in their division. They claimed the title of overall High School Choir with a score of 92 out of 100. Senior Bailey Hardy expressed, “Maintaining our streak of straight one rankings at Dollywood’s “Music in the Parks” was an amazing way to end my last high school trip.” The choirs are under the direction of Angelica Dunsavage, Director of Wauseon Middle and High School Choirs.
