Wauseon Takes Down Bryan In Straight Sets

(September 16th, 2014)-BRYAN: Taking to the road, Wauseon sought out a victory against NWOAL opponent Bryan. And they found one, taking down the Golden Bears in straight sets.

Wauseon was able to keep the Lady Bears at arms reach throughout the match. In the first game, the Lady Indians defeated the girls of Bryan 25-18. Game 2 went much the same way, with Wauseon topping the Golden Bears 25-19. The third game saw the Indians close out the series 25-18.

Kierra Fountain had a big day for the Indians, making 13 kills and 11 digs. Teammate Hayley Chamberlain had 13 assists, 5 kills, 2 blocks, and an ace. Morgan Roth was also very generous with the ball, serving up 19 assists to go along with her 1 ace in the victory effort.
