The Chi Rho youth group (grades 5-8) of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Wauseon, Ohio recently went on their annual Heritage Trip allowing an opportunity for the youth to learn about their Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) heritage. This group of 28 youth and 7 adults went to Indianapolis, Indiana to tour of their denominational headquarters and the Christian Theological Seminary. The group enjoyed Sunday worship at Light of the World Christian Church. The youth raised funds to attend this unique opportunity; fundraisers included a car wash (held the Saturday following the Fulton County Fair), an overnight lock-in and hosted the Olive Pit (meal and entertainment). The Chi Rho group wants to say thank you to all who supported them making this opportunity possible.
