The Williams County 4-H Youth Development program is having a very active month of July. The month began with 4-H members and Teen Leaders attending 4-H Camp at Camp Palmer near Fayette, Ohio. The 4-H Campers learned several new venues from dance to making a lamp using a soda pop can. The weather was very good and the campers were engaged in the well-organized program conducted by the Camp Palmer staff and the tremendous 4-H Camp counselors from Williams County.
On July 18th, the Williams County 4-H Youth Development program is holding the 54th Annual 4-H Chicken Barbecue meal at the Williams County Fairgrounds. The meals could be carry out or sit down dinners in the Veterans Memorial Building. The meal is ½ a chicken with baked potato, roll & butter and dessert for a $8.00. Advanced ticket sales shows more than 2,100 meals have been sold. Tickets are for sale at the door.
