THE VILLAGE REPORTER

The Williams County Fair Foundation Board of Directors was in a giving mood May 12 as it approved several funding requests.

The board meeting drew around 25 people and lasted all of 15 minutes.

The board agreed to donate $400 to the Junior Fair Board so its members can purchase a T-shirt for Fair Week. The Fair Board had already donated $400 and asked the

Foundation to follow suit.

The shirts will be neon green and carry a logo which says “Raising the Barn since 1959.”

The Foundation also approved an annual gift of $500 to the Fair king and queen scholarship fund. This also matches a donation from the Fair Board.

The Foundation agreed to donate $750 to pay for partial scholarships for the 4-H Camp set for June 7-10. The donation will cover 10 kids.
