Williams County Safe Communities Releases Williams County Traffic Fatalities Update for the Fourth Quarter 2016

The Williams County Safe Communities program reports two fatal crashes with two fatalities in Williams County for the fourth quarter of 2016, Oct-Dec 2016. Non use of a seat belt was a factor in one of these crashes. This compares with the fourth quarter of 2015 report of two fatal crashes with two fatalities. In 2016 there were ten confirmed fatalities for Williams County. In 2015 there were eight confirmed fatalities.

As of February 21, 2016, Ohio traffic statistics reports 105 confirmed fatalities for 2017 as compared to 120 fatalities for the same date in 2016 a difference of -15 and an -13% change. There are an additional 14 unconfirmed provisional traffic fatalities to date for 2017. Williams County has had two traffic fatalities to date for 2017.

Williams County Fourth Quarter Traffic Fatalities:
There were two fatal crashes with two fatalities in the fourth quarter of 2016, as compared to two fatal traffic crashes with two fatalities in the fourth quarter of 2015.
