Williams County Traffic Fatality Report For Third Quarter Of 2022

Montpelier, Ohio – The Williams County Safe Communities Fatal Data Review reports two fatal crashes in Williams County for the third quarter of 2022 during the months of July, August and September 2022.

This compares with the third quarter 2021 report of four fatal crashes during the same time frame.

Williams County reports 6 fatal crashes with 7 fatalities as of September 30, 2022, with 2 OVI-Related, 6 Mature-Related, 1 Motorcycle-Related, 3 Failure to Yield-Related and 1 Unbelted-Related for 2022.

Countermeasures discussed at the Fatal Data Review Meeting included continued traffic safety awareness education for impairment and mature driver safety.


Williams County for YTD 2022 vs YTD 2021 fatal comparison is at +1. This comparison indicates 2022 crash fatalities are +1 when compared to 2021 for the same time frame with six fatal crashes.
