EDGERTON – A wealth of experience returns for head coach Brody Flegal as Edgerton looks to bounce back from a rough 2023 campaign that saw them go just 2-8, 1-6 in GMC.

Quarterback Maddox Baker is back along with playmaker Scottie Krontz for an offense that averaged 22.0 ppg and scored 30 touchdowns last year.

“Execution and ball security are huge”, said Flegal. We had too many self-inflicted mistakes in 2023. We also need to establish a run game, as everything branches from that.”

Edgerton will look to make strides on defense after surrendering 33.1 ppg and forcing just 12 turnovers in 10 games.

“We must control the line of scrimmage, be great tacklers, over-communicate”, said Flegal when asked what the keys will be to be successful on defense.
