The general public is invited to a day of celebration and fun geared to the whole family and for all ages. The event will take place at 4-H Camp Palmer in Fulton County, 26450 County Rd. MN, Fayette Ohio 43521 on October 11 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. 4-H Camp Palmer is owned and operated by 11 counties in northwest Ohio and also is an outreach of Ohio State University Extension.
Please join us for a fun day! Activities will include: carnival games with pumpkin painting, wagon rides, camp store, zip line, rifle, nature center, climbing tower, archery, gaga ball, canoeing, and flying squirrel.
A free will offering picnic lunch will be provided on a first come, first serve basis served from 12 noon-2:30 p.m. Also there will be craft and specialty vendors in Woodland lodge.
On October 9 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, 4-H Camp Palmer Shoot will open to public youth ages 9-18 years old. 4-H Camp Palmer is very appreciative for a generous ODNR Grant, Division of Wildlife for Scholastic Steel targets, rifles, pistols and additional equipment to improve our programs! Recently, a Distinguished Organization Award was presented to Fulton County Dairy Association in recognition of and appreciation for $35001 of financial support for 4-H Camp Palmer’s pool project! Due to many generous donors the pool loan has been reduced to $76,000. The camp pool was enjoyed by over 3000 youth this past summer!
Our 4-H Camps had an 8% increase in campers and served 2000 youth. Donations can still be made to camp by calling 419-237-2247 or emailing 4hcamppalmer@gmail.com
