BRYAN — The 4-H Explorers meeting was held on Sunday, May 18 at Wesley Church. The meeting was called to order by Dani Hickey, the club’s president. To start, Recreation Leader Kalib Riter lead the club in a game of Heads Up. The meeting’s role call question was, “What is your favorite book?” The club turned out to have a library full of different books that are their favorite.

Kaleb Rink gave the treasurer’s report. A motion to pay Jerry’s T’s $459 was made and passed. All merchandise bought from Jerry’s T’s will be on Sunday, May 25. The club’s bake sale at Chief brought enough money for each camper in the club to have $25 put toward his or her camp payment. There are nine members going to camp this year. Four demonstrations were presented- Michael Rychener on German Shepards, Kalib Riter on hamsters, Carolyn Rychener on The Jabberwocky poem, and Jordan Riter on making games at Tinker.com.

Final registration for camp is May 23. The next meeting is June 29 at Wesley Church.
