Surrounded by loving family, from near and far, Vernon “Bud” Demaline, age 84, passed away September 18th, 2018 at Spring Meadows Senior Community. He was born July 16th, 1934 to his loving parents Vern Demaline and Lillian Markley.  On September 25, 1954 he married the love of his life, Roberta (Bobbie) Anderson.

Bud is survived by his loving wife, as well as their four children, Diane (Jim) Boulis of Grove City, OH, Ben (Wendy) Demaline of Roswell, GA, Julie (John) Schobinger of Waterville, OH and Mike (Suellen) Demaline of Alpharetta, GA. Grandchildren, Ben (Beth) Demaline, Erica (Jim) Schneider, Abbey (Dean) Schuler, Ashley (Michael) Kane, Mathew and Michelle Demaline, Taylor and Zachary Teslovich. Great Grandchildren, Preston and Noah Schuler, Alex and Zachary Demaline, Lindsey Schneider, and Henry Kane. Along with an abundance of wonderful nieces and nephews.

His greatest joy was spending time with his family and celebrating the holidays with all of us. No one could compete with his decorations and festivity! He also loved football, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes. Bud was a master tradesman in the art of plastering and bricklaying. He had an exceptional gift of creating life, especially when it came to plants. He could truly make anything grow, and thrive. Bud could bring a smile to any stranger’s face, while creating endless friendships.

His celebration of life will begin with memorial visitation on Sunday, October 7th 6-8 P.M. at St. Caspar’s Church and the funeral mass will be held at 10:30 A.M. on October 8th at St. Caspar’s Church, Wauseon, Ohio.

Online condolences to the family may be offered at www.grisierfh.com.  The Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon has been entrusted with Bud’s care and arrangements.
