Rick S. Roberts, 68, of Swanton died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee. He was born Dec. 2, 1949, to the late James and Marilyn (Scott) Roberts. In June of 1970, he married Jo Ann Biscay, his beloved wife of 48 years, and she survives.
Rick graduated from Brush High School in Cleveland, Ohio, and attended The University of Toledo. Rick and Jo Ann were teaching parents with Community Teaching Homes. Rick enjoyed working with young people, fishing, outdoor living, and spending time with family and friends in Canada.
Rick is also survived by a brother, David (Anne) Roberts; sisters, Lori (Dennis) Grabowy and Robin (Chris) Suhay; and cousins and extended family.
Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018, at Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St., Swanton, with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
