Hilltop Cadets Bounced From The Birdcage By Pettisville On February 7th

PETTISVILLE: February 7, 2014 – The Pettisville Blackbirds were just two conference wins away from clenching a share of the 2013-14 BBC Title when they welcomed in BBC rival Hilltop on February 7. The hometown boys jumped all over the Cadets at the onset and never looked back, sending Hilltop away with a 59-39 defeat.

Korben Rychener and Austin Dykstra each hit on a game-high 18 to pace 10-2 / 7-1 Pettisville. Eli King threw down 12 points, Tate Kauffman had 6 points and Jeremy Mann 5.

Quinn Smith led 1-15 / 0-8 Hilltop with 13 points, while Kelby Grime had 7. Miklo Abner and Tim Maneval had 5 points apiece, Will McKinney had 4 points, Ryan Brooker 3, and Xavier Lowery 2 points.
