During the regular Stryker Rotary Meeting on Tuesday evening the proceeds of the Mothers Day dinner were split between the Stryker American Legion and the Loft. The Loft has been operating with community support as well as guidance from the “Youth for Christ” organization. It is located in the upstairs of the Stryker American Building and the Stryker Legion members feel blessed to have the group in the facility. Many of the area teens find the Loft a place to have fun while learning about Christ.

The Stryker Rotary Club assisted with the Mothers Day event and felt it was a great success for the club and the community. All monies raised after expenses were split equally between the two groups. Each of them received a check from the Stryker Rotary Club for $1,390.19. The Thrivent Williams/Fulton County Chapter Board #30022 provided matching funds for the event and each will be receiving a check from Thrivent for $320.00.
