Jeremiah Rios (1993-2021)

Jeremiah “Bullfrog” D. Rios, 27 of Bryan passed away Wednesday, January 6th, 2021. He was born on March 2, 1993 in Bryan to Steve Rios and Tina L. Roesch.

Jeremiah graduated from Montpelier High School, he studied welding at the Four County Career Center. He attended Northwest State Community College.

Jeremiah worked as a Tech Mechanic / Maintenance at Spangler Candy Company since 2016. He was a hardworking father and son. Jeremiah loved his children more than anything. He enjoyed motorcycling, dirt biking and riding four wheelers at Bundy Hill.

He is survived by his parents Steve Rios, Tina (Brett) Dummitt of Montpelier; children Mila L. and Aria S. Rios of Oakwood, and Sylas D. Rios of Bryan; siblings Amber L. Zuber of Montpelier, Martina M. Rios of Bryan, Michael R. (Regan) Rios of Ft. Hood, Texas, Brittney A. Dummitt of Pioneer, and Brandon (Hailee) Dummitt of Montpelier; maternal grandparents Robert and Connie Roesch; paternal grandparents Gavino and Gloria Rios; former spouse Alexis F. Thomas of Oakwood; nieces and nephews Daisy Baker, Alexis Baker, Landon Rios, Brooklyn Baker, Bella Dummit, Mason Zuber, Ellie Rios, Bishop Dummitt, Remmington Rios and Benson Rios.

Visitation for Jeremiah will be on Sunday, January 10th from 1-2pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Montpelier. Services will follow at 2pm at the funeral home with Reverend Wedsol Dummitt to officiate. Per the Governors orders, those wishing to attend services should wear a mask and follow the recommended social distancing guidelines.


Memorial contributions may be given to Tina to set up a fund for his children.
