Archbold Board Of Education: Organizational Meeting President Appointed

The Archbold Board of Education held their meeting on Monday, November 15th at 5:00 p.m. The meeting was called to order followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and roll call.

The board first moved to approve the previous meetings minutes from October 25th as well as the October 2021 financial reports.

The following agenda items were then approved by the board. The five-year forecast as presented, an addendum to purchase a contract for the 1994 Schult Manufactured Home on 337 Park Street and authorization for superintendent and treasurer to sign the purchase agreement. The transferability and schoolwide pool fund transfers from Title IIA to Title I for fiscal year Title I program.

A resolution to temporarily adopt modified education requirements for substitute teachers in accordance with S.B. 1.

The annual Food and Beverage standards report as presented and the paraprofessional substitute list provided by NOESC for the 2021-2022 school year.


The board then moved to approve numerous personnel additions followed by the substitute teacher list provided by NOESC for the 2021-2022 school year.

The date and time for the organization meeting was then set for January 10th, 2022 at 4:30 p.m.

Lastly, the board moved to appoint Jeremy Hurst as the President Pro-Tem (for the time being), for the Archbold Board of Education’s Organizational Meeting.


With no other further business needing addressed, the board moved to adjourn for the evening.
