(September 29th, 2014)- With both squads fighting to three sets, the North Central Seventh and Eighth Grade teams showed the Panthers of Delta what the Lady Eagles are all about.
Dropping an early set to the Lady Panthers, the North Central Eighth Graders didn’t allow the 19-25 defeate to deter them. They came back in game 2, winning 25-21 to force a game 3. In that decisive game, Delta proved to have a bit more endurance than the Lady Eagles, as North Central lost the set 13-25.
Before that, however, the Seventh Graders met on the court. In an intense first set, the Lady Eagles earned a difficult 26-24 win to take a series lead. The Delta girls came back, however, claiming a 25-14 victory, necessitating a game 3. That final game saw the North Central girls seize control of the set, securing a 25-15 victory and the match.
