On September 8, the Edgerton Class of 2024 Junior Parents announced the ticket sales of a fundraising trip to New York City to raise funds for the Post Prom activities for 2023.

Instead of Post Prom, Edgerton Class of 2024 parents have decided to do things a bit differently this year.

A tour bus has been scheduled to depart from the school on Tuesday, December 27, of 2022, and take students to New York City. The bus will leave at 8:00 p.m. and travel through the night to drop off the class around 7:30 a.m.

Travelers will have free time in NYC until 10:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28th, when the bus will depart and return to Edgerton High School around approximately Thursday morning at 9:15 a.m.

Not only is the trip quite a step up from a normal Post Prom, but it is also an exciting and affordable way to see New York City around Christmas. The cost per student is $200 and includes all fees.

The class is selling 56 tickets that are non-refundable. This trip is a great Christmas Gift, and a perfect opportunity for a family to get away and make memories, while supporting the EHS Class of 2024 after prom activities.

Edgerton High School Post Prom Committee sponsors a Post Prom Party from 11:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. with the intention of giving the students a great time, while designed to be completely safe.

The post prom party is a substance and alcohol-free environment with no entrance fee for the student and their guest. This is entirely funded through fundraising activities, business donations and generous parent donations.

The success of Post Prom relies on our ability to keep students entertained and motivated for the duration of the party.

A wide variety of activities are offered to keeps students engaged, having fun, and making fabulous memories with their friends. Prizes will be given out at the end of the evening.

Donations can be mailed to PO BOX 300, Edgerton, Ohio 43517 and made written to the Edgerton High School Class of 2024.
