GAMES TO WATCH:

Wauseon (6-2, 5-1 NWOAL) @ Archbold (7-1, 5-1 NWOAL) 7pm

Archbold has won the last five meetings between the Fulton County rivals and this year’s contest has playoff and league title implications.

Both teams have one-league loss (to Liberty Center) and the loser of this game will fall out of contention for a share of NWOAL championship.

Both teams are in the thick of a playoff race to host a first-round game as Wauseon sits at No. 9 (Division IV Region 14) and Archbold is No. 6 (Division V Region 18).

Each team brings a winning streak into the game following their losses to Liberty Center with Wauseon winning four straight and Archbold has won three in a row.

Patrick Henry (4-4, 2-3 NWOAL) @ Delta (5-3, 3-2 NWOAL) 7pm

Delta tries to bounce back from a heart-breaking loss in the waning minutes to Wauseon last week as they host a struggling Patrick Henry Patriots team.

The Panthers cling to the No. 15 spot in the Division V Region 18 computer ratings.

A loss by Delta may setup a must win game next week at home versus Liberty Center to end the regular season.

For the Patriots, after starting league play 2-0, they have lost three straight as they currently sit at No. 13 in Division VI Region 22.

Edgerton (7-1, 4-1 GMC 4-1) @ Tinora (5-3, 3-2 GMC) 7pm

The Bulldogs have a chance for a piece of the GMC if they win their final two games with a matchup against league leader Antwerp on the horizon in week 10.

After a 42-22 loss to Ayersville, the Bulldogs defense has surrendered just 13 points in the last three games.

Tinora is coming off a win last week over Paulding 27-8, the first victory for interim head coach Jeff Schliesser.

OTHER GAMES:

Bryan (3-5, 2-3 NWOAL) @ Swanton (1-7, 0-5 NWOAL) 7pm

Evergreen (2-6, 0-5 NWOAL) @ Liberty Center (8-0, 5-0 NWOAL) 7pm

Lakota (2-6) @ Edon (4-4) 7pm

Manchester (2-6) @ Hilltop (1-7) 7pm

Montpelier (2-6) @ Margaretta (6-2) 7pm

North Central (6-2) @ Summerfield (MI) (3-4) 7pm
