The Camp Palmer staff and board are very thankful to the many supporters and donors that have given to our pool project. The new pool is scheduled to open May 2015. Currently $300,000 of the $495,000 of the needed funds for project has been raised. 4-H Camp Palmer, Inc. serves youth from eleven counties in northwest Ohio and many groups from across the state, Michigan and Indiana.
The 4-H Camp Palmer board has announced that they desire a company or family to provide a donation of $200,000 to the pool project. This would allow the company or family the opportunity to name the pool. It would allow additional public recognition for decades and allow the camp to fully fund the pool project without debt.
Thousands of area youth are looking forward to this new pool facility, which replaces the original camp pool built in 1957. The grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony is planned to take place on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.
