Coming in the Fall of 2015 is the true story of the 1946 murder that rocked the small town of Bryan, Ohio and struck fear into the heart of the community. “Emily’s Story” will bring the events of the Bryan Library killing of young Emily Abernathy to the big screen. Presented by the Friends of the Bryan Library, and produced by ORBS, Capture 1 Studios, and Powerhorse Productions, this film documentary will finally give the innocent librarian, whose life was cut short, a chance for her tale to be told. This is “Emily’s Story.”

A local casting call will be held to fill main and supporting roles for the film. Extras are also needed. The casting call will take place in the West Annex Building of the Bryan Main Library on Sunday, February 22nd from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. Men ages 17-55 and women ages 17-35 are needed to audition! Experience is a plus but not required. A head shot and resume is recommended but optional.
