And the winner is……..Operation Clean Duds! At Monday’s third-quarter Power in the Purse (PIP) meeting, the women’s giving circle affiliated with the Bryan Area Foundation awarded more than $6,100 to the local non-profit.

Founded in 2021 by retired veteran Jasmine Conley, Operation Clean Duds provides free laundry events and supplies to those in need in Northwest Ohio.

Currently serving six counties, including Williams, the organization has washed over 15,000 loads in two years.

They are looking to add a second laundry event in Montpelier soon, and the PIP grant monies will be used to offer more cleaning services and items.

Since 2016, PIP has donated over $192,000 to 33 non-profit projects serving Williams County. If you want to make a difference in our community and learn more about PIP, consider joining us at our next meeting on Thursday, October 26. Or contact the Bryan Area Foundation at 419.633.1156.
