The father of the three missing Skelton boys from Morenci, Michigan was recently denied parole during his recent parole hearings.

The three brothers were last seen on Thanksgiving in 2010, making this upcoming Thanksgiving the thirteenth year since they disappeared.

The parole board met to discuss the potential early release for John Skelton but denied the request.

With this denial, Skelton will complete his full sentence that was handed down when he was convicted of unlawful imprisonment back in 2011.

Skelton had originally stated the children were given to an underground group, but efforts to find the three brothers have turned up nothing thus far.

Skelton is currently set to be released following the completion of his sentence on November 29th, 2025.
