MONTPELIER – The Locos dug out of a 20-8 hole to win the third set and went on to get a five-set win over the Blackbirds.
Kelsie Bumb had 35 assists, nine kills, 16 digs to front Montpelier, Lyla Mahan notched 34 digs, and Jada Uribes sent home 17 kills.
Naomi Richer paced Pettisville with 17 kills and 23 digs, Becca Strauss had 27 digs, and Grace Hastings tallied 20 assists and 15 digs.
