The Williams County Commissioners condensed the week of Thanksgiving, meeting in special session once at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.
Commissioners Lew Hilkert and Bart Westfall were present at the meeting that produced nine resolutions and the signage of the credit card expenditures for the Williams County Commissioners, Sheriff’s Office, Auditor’s Office, and Recorder’s Office for December and a contact form needed for Maumee Valley.
Also passed was a resolution from the joint Four County Commissioners meeting held on October 23, a notice to proceed for a light installation at the Courthouse, paperwork for utilities to be started at 677 North Main Street, a pay request from Maumee Valley, the minutes of their November 16, 2023 session, and the bills as presented before adjourning for the week at 9:12 a.m.
Resolution 23-0338 approved supplemental appropriations for the Williams County Commissioners, Department of Aging, EMS, Engineer, Hillside Country Living, JFS, and Sheriff.
Resolution 23-0339 approved an amendment to the Council Coordinator Agreement through June 2024.
Resolution 23-0340 approved an agreement for driver skills testing with the Ohio Department of Safety Bureau of Motor Vehicles and Resolution 23-0341 approved an agreement for child placement services for Williams County JFS.
Resolution 23-0342 approved collaborative law enforcement program use, Resolution 23-0343 approved a lease agreement for JFS at 117 West Butler Street, and Resolution 23-0344 approved a lease agreement for the Ability Center at 1425 East High Street.
Rounding out the resolutions passed was Resolution 23-0345 approving an amendment to a contract by way of extension for Williams County JFS; and Resolution 23-0346 approved an ARPA First Responder Wellness, Recruitment, Retention & Resiliency Grant Agreement for the Williams County EMS.
