Janet Brellahan (1951 – 2024)

Janet L. Brellahan, age 72, of Wauseon, passed away on February 10, 2024, at Fulton Manor. Janet worked as a factory worker at Deshler Products for many years.

Janet was born on August 5, 1951, in Oak Hill, WV, to the late Joseph and Corine (Blackwell) Blethen. Janet loved NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, Jr. She also enjoyed watching birds on her porch.

Above all, Janet loved her grandkids and great-grandkids, and enjoyed spending time with her family.


Surviving Janet is her son, Mike (Kyleen) Brellahan of Defiance; son, Brian (Rochel) Brellahan of Wauseon; grandchildren, Ashley, Chriss, Kennedy, Emerson, Lincoln, and Grayson; great-grandchildren, Amanda, Jay, Jaxon, Brayden, Jax, and Grant; sister, Joyce Alexander of Tennessee; and sister-in-law, Cheryl Blethen.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joseph Blethen, Jr.; and grandson, Michael Brellahan.

Visitation for Janet will take place on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home of Wauseon, from 2pm to 6pm.


In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com. The Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home of Wauseon is honored to serve the Brellahan family.
