(Helped Operate Stough’s Paint Store In Bryan)

Norma J. Stough, 89, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Kingston Residence, Perrysburg, Ohio.

Norma was born August 1, 1935, in Wauseon, Ohio, daughter of the late Oscar and Valda (Rohdy) Hildebrant.

She was a 1953 graduate of Stryker High School. Norma married Lynn D. Stough on October 13, 1956, in Bryan, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on June 23, 2023.


Norma assisted her husband Lynn in operating Stough’s Paint Store in Bryan. She also worked as a receiving/claims clerk at K-Mart for 13 years and prior to this, she had worked at Strydel in Stryker Norma enjoyed making different crafts, creating her Christmas Village every year, traveling whether by aircraft or car, or whatever Lynn was involved with, Norma was there.

Norma is survived by three children, Lex Stough of Springfield, Ohio, Dwight (Deb) Stough of Archbold, Ohio, and Brenda (Ralph) Hageman of Kunkle, Ohio; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandson; one brother Kenneth (Karen) Hildebrandt of Bryan; two sisters, Betty Beck of Stryker, and Donna George of Mesquite, Nevada.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 67 years, Lynn; two brothers, Alden, and Robert Hildebrandt; one sister, RuthAnna Holthues.


To honor Norma’s request, there will be no visitation at this time. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Private interment will be made with her husband Lynn, in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, Bryan.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association and Related Disorders Association. Condolences may be sent to the family or memories may be shared at www.oberlinturnbull.com.
