Sufficient Grace Ministries Run/Walk Race For Grace

September 19, 2024No Comments2 Mins Read

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, and we are passionate about increasing awareness and supporting grieving parents.

As part of that support, Sufficient Grace Ministries is holding its 9th annual Race for Grace at our office, located at 407 S. Stearns Ave, Deshler, OH, on Saturday, October 5, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

This run/walk will help benefit Sufficient Grace Ministries, a local NW Ohio 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that provides perinatal hospice and bereavement services, memory-making items, support, and other resources to families facing pregnancy or infant loss.

When a parent faces the unthinkable, SGM provides its amazing resources and support free of charge to families throughout Ohio and all over the world.

Individuals from all over the state will gather at the walk to share in a time of remembrance for babies and children with brief lives. The Race for Grace consists of a 5K Race, a one-mile PAIL Remembrance Walk, and a short Kid’s Fun Run.

We will also have a photo-worthy flag display to help individuals visually understand the amount of loss experienced. One in every four pregnancies ends in loss. Pregnancy and infant loss touches everyone.

Details of the event are located at https://runsignup.com/Race/OH/Deshler/RaceforGracePAILRemembranceRunWalk.
