ADAMhs Board Approves Funding To Continue Client Transportation Program In 2025

The Four County ADAMhs Board approved a $60,000 contract with Triangular Processing to provide transportation for clients served by ADAMhs-funded agencies next year at its meeting on Thursday, December 12.

Board CEO Tonie Long explained that the contract has been in place for two years. It is currently providing up to six round trips per month for the 60 persons who have requested transportation.

The $60,000 allocation for 2025 is a reduction of $30,000 from what was allocated this year. Long said that was possible because Triangular Processing has received a grant from Ohio’s opioid settlement funds.

According to Long, the funding can be used to provide rides to support adult daily living activities for mental health and addiction clients for reasons such as grocery shopping, self-care and other needs.

In some cases, it has even been used to support clients’ efforts to gain employment.
