Jill R. Goebel, age 59, of Edgerton, Ohio, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne following a brief illness.
Jill was an amazing cook, especially at Thanksgiving. She loved spending time with her dog, Coco, but most of all, she loved time with her children and grandchildren.
Jill was born on June 1, 1965, in Coshocton, Ohio, the daughter of Theodore G. and Dolores E. “Dee” Goebel. She attended Edgerton High School.
Jill is survived by her father, who meant the world to her, Theodore “Ted” Goebel; sons, Brandon (Judy Vasquez) Goebel and Matthew (Dawn Hopkins) Goebel and daughter, Lacey Goebel, all of Edgerton; grandchildren, Jaden Hug, Bella McKinley, Scottie Krontz, Ethan Goebel, Holly Henchcliff, Zar Zartman, and Mahkaylah Weber; her brother, Paul Griffin, of Coshocton and special cousin, Jamie (William) Reed.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dee Goebel and twin brothers, Kenny and Kevin Hardesty.
A service celebrating Jill’s life will be held at a later date and will be announced by the family. Her arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 114 East Hull Street, Edgerton, Ohio.
