(Enjoyed Hiking And Mountain Climbing)

Robin D. Shaffer, age 70, of Golconda, Nevada, died January 6, 2025, at home surrounded by his family.

He was born February 26, 1954, in Hillsdale to Paul and Joyce (Day) Shaffer. On August 4, 1984, he married Margaret A. Smith at Hickory Grove Park.

Robin enjoyed the outdoors, you would find him hiking in the woods, or mountain climbing. In the spring he enjoyed hunting for Morel Mushrooms or working in his flowers or garden.

He listened to music 24 hours a day whether working construction and other odd jobs or looking for errors in coins trying to find that one worth a fortune.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife Margaret, mother Joyce, children; Daniel (Mary) Bignell Jr., Benjamin (Skye) Bignell, and Sherry (Jeremy) Allen, siblings Eileen (Joe) Shaffer, Rebecca (Alan) Stiverson, Teresa (Kim) Fuller, Lyle Shaffer, Linda (Carlos) Grubbs, Scott (Corena) Shaffer, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place, and a graveside service will be held at Waldron Cemetery at a later date, times will be published in the spring.

Memorial donations may be given to the family for future designation in memory of Robin. Friends can share condolences with the family online at www.eaglemarryfuneralhomes.com.
