The female Athlete of the Week is Montpelier sprinter Bria Friend. The Locos’ junior qualified for state in four events as she was part of the 4×100 and 4×200 relay teams while also advancing individually by placing third in the 200 meters and finishing as regional champion in the 100 meters.
