The Fulton County Commissioners met for their regular session on Thursday, September 11, 2025, in the session room at 152 South Fulton Street in Wauseon.
The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance and an opening prayer, followed by roll call and the approval of minutes from the September 9, 2025, session. The day’s agenda was then adopted as presented.
The treasurer-to-auditor balancing report was reviewed under old business, confirming that county fund balances were properly reconciled.
Commissioners then moved on to new business, approving several appropriation requests across various departments.
They passed a resolution authorizing the controlled removal of wildlife at the Pettisville Wastewater Treatment Lagoons to prevent damage to the facility and the surrounding environment.
Another resolution formally designated Fulton County as the lead entity for the Building Demolition and Site Revitalization Program, which will help manage state funds for clearing blighted properties.
Additional approvals included the 2026 special assessments for both the Pettisville and Elmira/Burlington water districts, allowing the county auditor to place charges on the tax duplicate.
The board also authorized an inter-county transfer for the Department of Job and Family Services and approved routine purchase orders and travel requests. The session concluded shortly after 9:05 a.m.
